Life on the streets of Kampala

"Most people have never been through the struggle of living in the streets
and neither have I. I had no idea what it actually meant not to have a home
before I came to Kampala - Uganda. Most of all, I hadn't realized how much there was to understand about the notion of homelessness.
One can only truly understand the struggle of streets by having been through it, but still spending time with these people gives you a better understanding of what kind of life this is.

The thing is, most of the people you will find living on the streets of Kampala are; kids, youth homelessness - a notion that is even harder to grasp. These are youths of all ages with; no home, no one who takes care of them, no school, nowhere to go and nothing to do. They are called 'Street Kids' ..." Narrator
